TUESDAY NIGHTS

Every Tuesday night from 6:30 - 8:30pm, Aldridge hosts an event for university students and young professionals and usually involves dinner. Each month there is a meditation (1st week), philosophy/cultural get-together (2nd week), recollection (3rd week) and special guest speaker (4th week). Contact Aldridge to find out more.

EMMANUEL CITY MISSION

We volunteer to help out at

least once a month on a Saturday at

Emmanuel City Mission in

South Brisbane, to serve

those in Brisbane doing it

tough with food, drink, clothes

and companionship.

UNIV CONFERENCE

UNIV is an annual congress for university students held in Rome during Holy Week which draws participants from all over the world.

UNIV was started under the inspiration of St. Josemaria Escriva who saw it as a great opportunity to draw university students closer to the Holy Father.

MONTHLY OUTINGS

We organise monthly outings on a Sunday or public holiday which include bushwalks and trips to the coast.

SERVICE PROJECTS

Service projects offer uni students and young professionals the opportunity to live solidarity by serving the poor and less fortunate. Through a project that is both demanding and rewarding, volunteers will discover the great joy of sacrificing themselves for others. They also benefit from the unique opportunity to interact with the local people, learning about their culture and way of life. Participants also have the opportunity to take advantage of spiritual activities such as confession, daily Mass, and regular times for prayer.

The service projects are organised and run in conjunction with other projects of EDA (Education Development Association), together with Reledev Australia Limited – a not-for-profit NGA, accredited with AusAID.
